MS Exchange Administrator

We are looking for an MS Exchange Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our Exchange infrastructure across On-Prem, Hybrid, and Online environments.

This is a remote role with a strong connection to our Brussels-based operations. You will play a critical part in both daily operations and long-term strategic improvements, supporting a robust and secure messaging ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Exchange infrastructure (On-Prem/Hybrid/Online)
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and technical authority for Microsoft Exchange and enterprise email services
  • Drive improvements and optimizations across all related service components
  • Support delivery of project objectives during PI Planning
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, support procedures, and upgrade schedules
  • Configure and maintain Exchange environments with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability
  • Perform regular health checks, implement automation, and enhance system monitoring
  • Leverage deep expertise in MS Exchange and Microsoft 365 to ensure reliable and secure communication systems

Qualifications:

  • Relevant college degree or 5+ years of experience in complex IT environments
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange (2010/2013/2016/2019/Online)
  • Proven experience in Exchange administration, configuration, and cloud migration
  • Familiarity with large-scale Exchange and multi-tenant Active Directory deployments
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting abilities
  • Solid understanding of networking principles including load balancing and firewalls
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems in 24/7 environments
  • Working knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and SAFe methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level)

Desirable Skills:

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE)
  • Experience with SQL, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Proofpoint, Splunk, and Active Directory design
  • Proficiency in French is a plus
