As our National Account Manager, you’ll lead the charge in driving sustainable growth across the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. With a true general manager mindset, you’ll own the business end-to-end—shaping strategy, delivering year-over-year revenue growth, and managing a healthy P&L—while building powerful, win-win partnerships with key customers like Ahold, Market Basket, and Weis. From cereal to snacking, frozen breakfast to baby food, you’ll unlock new opportunities to expand our reach and impact across every aisle.
The day to day:
- Leading the development of annual budget and trade spend strategy for key accounts. (Ahold, Market Basket, Weis)
- Managing monthly, quarterly, bi-annual meetings with each customer to review the state of the business, present new items, conduct line reviews, and customized promotional calendars. (Identifying gaps/opportunities/risks and provide action plans for improvements)
- Develop business plans and sales strategies to ensure sales goals and objectives.
- Providing excellent merchandising and category recommendations to support sales growth.
- Building and execution of an omni-channel strategy.
- Creating and understanding promotional budgets and activities.
- Inputting forecasted base and incremental sales volume by SKU for direct accounts.
- Trade fund management and forecasting
- Maintaining and using data analysis tools (Spins/IRI/Nielson)
Notes:
- Head office experience with the clients listed is required
- This is a remote role with preference for talent in Central USA.
- 25 - 30% travel is anticipated.
- This opportunity will pay around $145,000 - $155,000 with a 20% bonus.
- We offer great benefits and a $500/month car allowance as well.
