Their advanced solutions in OCR and ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) are transforming how governments, municipalities, transportation providers, and enterprises manage security, traffic, and mobility operations. With strong global momentum, they are now expanding their technical sales team across North America.

The Role

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales process by acting as the technical expert during customer engagements. You’ll collaborate with account managers and partners to understand client needs, design tailored solutions, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and provide technical validation throughout the sales cycle. You’ll also support deployments, training, and long-term customer success — positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and customer-facing skills, who enjoys combining solution design with consultative sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design solutions that fit business and technical expectations
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical proposals
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle, building customer confidence and addressing technical questions
  • Support customer onboarding, training workshops, and deployment assistance
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to colleagues, partners, and clients
  • Lead initiatives with technology partners, ensuring training, certification, and enablement are maintained
  • Share market and customer insights to influence technical strategy and product development
  • Nurture relationships with clients to ensure retention, satisfaction, and upsell opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Technical Sales Specialist
  • Strong technical background with the ability to deliver demos, POCs, and solution design
  • Knowledge of video analytics, OCR, ALPR, or security systems is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative approach with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, channel, and delivery teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
