Kanak Naturals is seeking a high-performing National Account Manager to lead growth across the single use beverage cup/container market. This role is ideal for a sales professional who can build strong national relationships, navigate regional dynamics, and expand our footprint in sustainable dinnerware and food packaging solutions. What You’ll Do:

Drive new business in the sustainable/recyclable beverage container market

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new national and regional accounts across the US and Canada
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with market opportunities
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets

Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Establish and grow long-term partnerships with distributors, foodservice groups, and retail accounts
  • Deliver responsive, high-quality service across diverse regions

Lead the Sales Process

  • Prepare and present tailored, persuasive proposals
  • Clearly communicate the value of eco-friendly dinnerware and food packaging solutions

Analyze Market Trends

  • Monitor trends in sustainability, food packaging regulations, and consumer demand
  • Track competitor activity and identify growth opportunities

Negotiate & Manage Contracts

  • Lead contract negotiations aligned with market requirements
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and timely

Represent Kanak Naturals

  • Attend trade shows and industry events
  • Provide consistent reporting, forecasts, and insights to leadership

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with internal teams to support logistics and customer success
  • Contribute to strategic sales planning and market expansion initiatives

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2+ years of successful B2B sales experience
  • Experience in sustainable products, food packaging, or foodservice industries preferred
  • Experience selling into large or national accounts strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven negotiation and closing ability
  • Excellent organization and territory management
  • Analytical mindset for pricing, margins, and forecasting
  • Consultative, solution-based selling approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage a national territory
