The Role:
The client is looking for an experienced Account Manager, reporting to the Head of Destination Management Company (DMC) Account Management. The role involves building and managing strong relationships with assigned DMCs, ensuring high-quality trip delivery, and supporting business growth. The salary range for this position is £50k - £55k, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee DMC performance to meet quality standards and service agreements.
- Build collaborative, trusting relationships with DMCs, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Onboard new DMCs with training to align with service level agreements.
- Utilize performance management tools to track performance, identify opportunities and risks, and report to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams for feedback and insights to enhance DMC performance and product iteration.
- Support strategic decision making and execution of mid and long-term DMC partnership strategies.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in account management, preferably with an ability to set expectations and provide feedback.
- Proficiency in data analysis to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with both external and internal teams.
- Experience with international suppliers and remote communication.
- Proven influence and negotiation skills adaptable to different partners.
- Experience in high growth environments is beneficial.
Logistics:
The interview process includes meetings with the hiring manager, a case study and presentation, and a final discussion with one of the founders. Some roles might include additional stages.
