Senior Microsoft Power Apps Application Developer

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Microsoft Power Apps Application Developer - EL1Please check below all the job details:

1. Contract Duration: 07 Months (06 Months initially + 40 Days extension)
2. Work Location: Remote Working
3. Eligibility: You must need to have Baseline Security Clearance or above.
4. Tentative Start Date: 27th April 2026

Position Description:

Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.

Key duties and responsibilities:The Power App Developer will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing Power Apps to support FWIN business processes.
• Implementing Dataverse as the primary data store for FWIN records.
• Designing and configuring Power Automate flows to support data validation, workflow automation, and notifications.
• Migrating existing data from SharePoint Lists to Dataverse.
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.
• Applying appropriate security roles, permissions, and governance controls.
• Collaborating with business users to refine requirements and iterate solutions.
• Delivering user training, knowledge transfer, and hyper-care support following deployment.

Producing clear technical and operational documentation, including:

1. Data model and solution design.
2. Application configuration.
3. Support and maintenance requirements.

Technical skills:

• Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps canvas/model driven apps and Power Automate flows.
• Consulting skills such as solution architecture design, and stakeholder management.
• Experience implementing governance policies for applications and data within Dataverse.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across internal teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise performance of complex workflows, application and data connections.
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 Platform.

Essential Criteria:

• Technical capabilities in the development of Microsoft Power Apps & foundational knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Platform.
• Strong communication skills.
• Consulting skills such as solution architecture design, and stakeholder management.
