The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Account Executive (Australia) to drive growth in the Australian market by selling HeartLab’s cloud-native cardiology imaging solution into hospitals, private clinics, and enterprise healthcare organisations.
This is a hands-on, full-cycle role where you’ll own the relationship from first contact through to partnering closely with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our commercial motion as we scale.
What You’ll Do
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → demo → proposal → negotiation → close
• Build and manage pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up
• Run high-quality product demonstrations tailored to clinical and operational stakeholders
• Develop strong relationships with decision makers including cardiologists, sonographers, imaging managers, operationsleaders, and executives
• Create proposals and commercial terms that drive win-win outcomes
• Take ownership of the end-to-end customer experience for your accounts
• Work closely with the implementation team to ensure successful onboarding and rollout, including training of end users.
• Capture customer insights and feed them back into product and leadership teams
**What We’re Looking ForMust-have:**
• Background in sonography or medical imaging (cardiology highly preferred) or demonstrated experience selling into medical imaging / healthcare environments
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior clinical stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset — you’re proactive, organised, and outcomes-driven
• Genuine obsession with customer success and long-term relationships
**Nice-to-have:**
• Experience selling SaaS (especially healthcare SaaS)
• Experience with multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments and helping define process
