Software Engineer | Remote | £85,000 - £100,000 We're working with a market-leading fintech disruptor on this exciting opportunity. Join a dynamic, autonomous team of six tasked with scaling greenfield solutions and new product functionality for high-traffic, enterprise-grade applications. You will leverage a modern stack including Go, Python, or TypeScript to build cloud-native architecture on AWS that solves complex business problems at scale. The Role

• Lead the development of greenfield solutions and scale new product functionality within a fast-paced, product-led environment.
• Design and operate high-scale data systems using streaming technologies like Kafka and Kinesis.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical architectures and high-performance code.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and high availability.
• Work with column-oriented databases such as BigQuery and ClickHouse to support data-intensive fintech applications.

What You'll Need

• Strong commercial experience in at least one backend language: Go, Python, or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Proven expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services) deployment and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience operating data systems at scale, including streaming tools (Kafka/Kinesis) and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• A product-focused mindset with the ability to function effectively in a fast-moving startup or scale-up culture.
• Understanding of regulated industries or FinTech environments is highly beneficial but not essential.
