Technical Product Manager

Location: Birmingham / Remote (occasional customer travel)

We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to take ownership of algorithm design and optimisation within our Dynamic Allocation Services product. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, data, and engineering – shaping how advanced mathematical models become scalable, commercially valuable features.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the design and refinement of allocation algorithms, applying optimisation and advanced mathematics to solve complex problems.
• Define KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement through structured experimentation and validation.
• Translate technical concepts into clear product requirements and work packages for engineering teams.
• Partner with stakeholders and customers, ensuring technical development aligns with business outcomes.
• Act as the product’s technical ambassador, guiding customer onboarding and demonstrating value.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in technical product management, data science, or algorithm-heavy roles.
• Expertise in optimisation, statistical modelling, and applied mathematics.
• Proficiency in Python, with ability to translate algorithmic design into practical specs.
• Familiarity with GCP (BigQuery), CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps practices.
• Strong Agile delivery experience and ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
