Content Designer | £500 - £600 We're working with a leading digital transformation consultancy delivering high-impact public sector services on this exciting opportunity. Step into a mission-critical role where you will simplify the complex world of tax and finance for millions of users. You'll harness the power of GDS principles, user research, and data-driven A/B testing to bridge the gap between technical policy and intuitive human interaction. The Role

• Lead the content strategy for high-stakes payment journeys, encompassing refunds, payment plans, and debt resolution.
• Translate dense tax and legal policy into clear, actionable "plain English" that empowers users and reduces reliance on support centers.
• Collaborate daily within a multidisciplinary squad of Product Managers, Researchers, and Engineers to build end-to-end transactional flows.
• Design and execute rigorous A/B tests on microcopy, sequencing, and CTAs to optimize completion rates and user satisfaction.
• Ensure every touchpoint—from error messages to complex guidance—meets strict WCAG accessibility standards and HMRC content principles.

What You'll Need

• Substantial experience in Content Design, specifically working on complex, transactional digital services or high-risk financial journeys.
• Deep expertise in User-Centred Design (UCD) and applying GDS (Government Digital Service) standards at scale.
• Proven ability to use data and analytics tools to validate design decisions and iterate content based on evidence, not opinion.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence policy and legal colleagues to prioritize user needs.
• A proactive approach to accessibility, ensuring all content is inclusive and usable for everyone regardless of their situation.
