Job Title: Strategic Account Manager
Location: REMOTE (Travel up to 30%)
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + Bonus

About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager serves as the primary commercial interface between the organization and key customer accounts. You’ll drive sustainable growth, lead commercial negotiations, develop customer‑centric strategies, and translate market insights into actionable business initiatives. This role requires strong relationship management, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to secure new business opportunities across major OEM and powertrain customers.
Responsibilities
• Act as the main commercial liaison for key customer accounts, owning long‑term relationship management and strategic business development
• Develop and execute account plans and customer roadmaps aligned with organizational growth objectives
• Drive new business development and secure opportunities with existing and prospective customers
• Lead commercial negotiations, shape pricing strategies, and develop contractual frameworks
• Deliver market and competitor analysis to support commercial decisions and strengthen account strategy
• Coordinate quotation processes, sales forecasting, and account profitability activities
• Manage daily account activities, project follow‑up, and timely resolution of customer issues
• Represent the organization at customer visits, industry events, tradeshows, and workshops
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a customer‑facing commercial role
• Background in commercial vehicle, powersports, powertrain, agriculture, or construction equipment markets (e.g., Peterbilt, Volvo, Polaris, Cummins, John Deere)
• Experience with sales forecasting, account planning, and commercial negotiations
• Strong understanding of customer relationship management and strategic account development
Required Skills
• Customer‑centric mindset with strong negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities
• Ability to translate customer insights into actionable commercial strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP, PowerBI, or CRM systems preferred
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Self‑driven hunter/farmer sales profile with entrepreneurial attitude
