Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an IT Compliance Analyst / Technical Support Engineer. The role involves ensuring compliance with IT security standards, supporting the implementation of policies, and monitoring system performance. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating IT systems, addressing technical support requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The role also involves communicating effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure a high level of technical service and alignment with compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess, monitor, and evaluate IT systems and compliance with standards.
- Knowledge and experience in Information Technology, including system frameworks, hardware, and software management.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve system and software issues effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills to liaise with colleagues, stakeholders, and users, ensuring clear and precise information sharing.
- Experience with IT compliance standards and frameworks is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent) are advantageous.
- Ability to efficiently manage tasks independently in a partially remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred but not required.
