This role can be based in Chile, Saudi Arabia, United States, Canada or Australia with remote first working or hybrid working in Adelaide. Due to the variable locations you, our clients and the projects can be located, this can sometimes mean working hours different to a typical 9-5 environment.

Fleet Space Technologies is a leading provider of Geophysical sensing for mineral exploration, using Space enabled technology to build the world’s best vertically integrated platform for ML driven mineral discovery. We want to work with curious and ambitious data-driven geoscientists to realize this groundbreaking work.

There are two types of Geologic Client Managers roles here:

GCM Project Managers Lead: This role will be the primary point of contact for clients, focusing on three key areas: exploration objectives, client satisfaction, and project delivery. Project Managers must have a strong technical background in geology or geophysics to "speak the same language" as clients, which helps them understand both the technical and business goals of a project while also being excellent communicators, highly organised and detail orientated.

GCM Technical Geology Lead: This technical role has a key responsibility of geological and geophysical interpretation and producing the final client deliverables, this role also requires the same strong communication skills to work directly with our clients.

It's essential for Project Managers and Lead Technical Geologists to work closely together to align project outcomes with client objectives, ultimately leading to exploration success.

As the roles overlap in the experience and skillsets we look for, applying for one role will be the same as applying for both and we'll take your input onto which role you feel most suited to as well and assess that during the early interview stages.

Role Responsibilities, GCM Project Managers:Client & Account Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client engagements
  • Onboard new clients, providing education on Ambient Noise Tomography and Multiphysics datasets and showcasing ExoSphere's capabilities
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute exploration programs, understanding their exploration objectives and defining success criteria
  • Develop customized exploration programs tailored to client needs
  • Communicate with clients to understand the geological setting and local geology of the project area
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring smooth contract execution, proactive issue resolution, and high client retention through value-driven engagement
  • Provide regular reporting to both internal and external stakeholders on project status and outcomes
  • Be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, ensuring all internal groups align to provide maximum value

Customer Satisfaction & Technical Support

  • Work closely with geology, geophysics and machine learning teams to analyze and interpret multiphysics (ambient noise tomography, gravity, magnetotellurics, induced polarization, magnetics) model results
  • Support the review and interpretation of survey results, subsurface models, and geological insights as an extension of the client's Geosciences team
  • Maintain ongoing client engagement, tracking key performance indicators and ensuring alignment with exploration goals
  • Respond promptly to technical inquiries, adjusting survey requirements and designs in real time as needed
  • Troubleshoot challenges, proactively coordinating internal and external resources to resolve issues
  • Ensure seamless integration of ExoSphere into clients' existing workflows
  • Manage third party vendors, tracking key performance indicators and ensuring alignment with exploration programs
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Technical Support, Geophysics, Machine Learning and Sales teams to drive customer success and maximize ExoSphere's impact in mineral exploration

Customer Retention, Expansion & Growth

  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities, collaborating with Sales teams to drive revenue growth
  • Recognize potential risks that could impact exploration programs and take proactive action
  • Capture and document lessons learned for continuous improvement of ExoSphere deployments

Key Skills & Required ExperienceMust have:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience managing mineral exploration projects or managing clients in mining, mineral exploration, or geophysical surveys.
  • Proven expertise in Geology and hands-on experience in exploration programs.
  • Strong background in strategic account or project management within the mining or mineral exploration sector.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ambient noise tomography, horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio, magnetotellurics, and ground-based gravity is an asset.
  • Proficient in a geological or geophysical modeling software.
  • A curious mindset, with the ability to ask the right questions and drive meaningful discussions.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to understand geophysical survey design parameters and leverage technology solutions for exploration challenges.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, capable of articulating complex data-driven insights.
  • Passion for space, mineral exploration, and cutting-edge technology.
  • Multilingual proficiency is an asset, English-Arabic or English-Spanish language proficiency required for some position locations
