Senior Account Manager – Road Safety Tech (UK, Remote)
Our client is a leading road safety technology company building AI solutions for the passenger transport sector. Their platform analyses driving data to predict risk days before incidents happen and gives drivers real-time coaching in the cab.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to look after and grow the European bus and coach customers, with a primary focus on the UK.
This is a post-sale, relationship-led role, not a new-business sales position. You will own existing customers through the full lifecycle, building trusted relationships from depot operations teams through to C-level executives.
You will make sure customers get real value from the platform, which leads to strong renewals and natural growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Ownership: Act as the main point of contact for key European bus and coach customers, managing multiple accounts and priorities at once. Drive adoption, satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Customer Value & Adoption: Understand each operator’s safety goals. Make sure the platform is embedded across depots, routes, and teams.
- Renewals & Account Growth: Manage renewals and contract negotiations. Identify where existing customers would benefit from expanding to new depots, routes or products.
- Cross-Functional Advocacy: Partner with Product, Support and Finance to represent the customer’s voice and resolve issues quickly.
- Account Planning: Maintain accurate account plans and renewal forecasts in Salesforce.
Key Requirements
- MUST: 5+ years in strategic or enterprise account management, with a track record of high retention and renewals and growth within existing accounts.
- MUST: B2B software / SaaS account management experience required, ideally in telematics. Experience in the bus and coach industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, including C-suite.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
- Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
