Eames Consulting has partnered with a growing and innovative organisation in the insurance sector, and they are looking for an experienced Motor Claims Adjuster to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment where technology and customer care sit at the heart of the claims process.

The Role

As a Motor Claims Adjuster, you will manage a portfolio of motor claims from first notification through to settlement, ensuring fair outcomes for all parties. You will be responsible for investigating liability, assessing repair and hire costs, negotiating settlements, and ensuring claims are resolved efficiently and in line with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling motor claims from “cradle to grave”
• Managing third-party and property damage claims.
• Reviewing repair estimates, credit hire, and injury claims (MOJ & OIC).
• Negotiating with repairers, hire companies, solicitors, and policyholders.
• Identifying and addressing potential fraud.
• Maintaining excellent customer service and keeping all stakeholders informed.
• Working to agreed SLAs and service standards while prioritising workloads effectively.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience handling motor claims (personal or commercial lines).
• Strong background in credit hire negotiation.
• Knowledge of MOJ and OIC claims processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse data and make sound decisions.
• Cert CII (or progress towards) is preferred.
• Proactive, empathetic, and solutions-focused.
