Senior Account Executive – Exposure Management & Threat Intelligence
Location: US (East/Central)
About the Company:
Our client, a fast-growing cybersecurity startup operating at the intersection of exposure management and threat intelligence, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to drive strategic enterprise growth across the U.S. market.
This is a hunter role for a high-performing enterprise sales professional who thrives in early-stage, fast-paced GTM environments and excels at building strong relationships with security leaders. You’ll play a key role in expanding the company’s footprint among enterprise and mid-market organisations, helping customers proactively identify and mitigate digital risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full enterprise sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline development through deal negotiation and close.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans focused on driving new business and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CISOs, SOC leaders, and other senior security stakeholders to position the company’s solutions as critical to their risk reduction strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales Engineering to deliver compelling, value-driven proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and deal progress in CRM systems.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects by understanding their attack surface management challenges and translating them into actionable security outcomes.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, ideally within exposure management, threat intelligence, or vulnerability risk management.
- Proven success closing 6- and 7-figure enterprise deals and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Deep understanding of enterprise security buying cycles, with experience selling to CISOs and other executive-level decision-makers.
- Background in an early-stage or high-growth GTM startup environment; comfortable with ambiguity and building scalable sales processes.
- Strong business acumen, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical value propositions.
- U.S.-based; remote position with flexibility for travel to customers and key industry events.
