Chadwick Nott is working with a well-established regional law firm seeking a Locum Civil Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to support their litigation team remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to manage a varied caseload from the comfort of home while contributing to a respected and growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, including contested probate, property disputes, and boundary issues

• Provide clear and professional advice to clients across contentious matters

• Handle files independently from instruction to resolution

• Build strong relationships with clients, counsel, and third parties

• Support the litigation team and contribute to business development

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

• Minimum 5 years’ PQE in civil litigation

• Proven expertise in contested probate is essential

• Strong knowledge of property litigation and boundary disputes

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills

• Strong client care and communication abilities

• Able to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively
