ABOUT THE ROLE

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Onboarding Specialist. This role will support new hire onboarding, employee documentation, and coordination across HR and operations teams for a growing U.S.-based organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional who enjoys working with people, managing processes, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

The Onboarding Specialist will play a key role in guiding new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is completed, and helping create a positive first impression of the organization.

This role is ideal for candidates interested in human resources, recruiting coordination, people operations, or administrative support.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires

- Send onboarding documents, collect required paperwork, and ensure completion

- Schedule orientation sessions and onboarding meetings

- Serve as a point of contact for new hire questions and support

- Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation

- Track onboarding progress, deadlines, and compliance requirements

- Coordinate with HR, recruiting, and hiring managers

- Assist with background checks, employment verification, and system setup

- Prepare onboarding materials, welcome guides, and internal resources

- Ensure a positive and professional onboarding experience

- Support process improvements for onboarding workflows

- Maintain confidentiality of employee information

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

- 0–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, administration, or customer service

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and HR systems

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented mindset

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with onboarding, HR coordination, or recruiting support

- Familiarity with HRIS systems or onboarding platforms

- Experience with document management or compliance tracking

- Customer service or administrative background

- Experience working in a remote environment
