Best Tours is looking for a reliable, highly organized, and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our growing international tour operations.
This is a fully remote freelance (independent contractor) role with flexible hours, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment and is looking for a long-term collaboration.

Best Tours creates immersive walking experiences that connect travelers to the true character of a city through history, culture, food, and storytelling.
We currently operate tours in New York City, Paris, and London, offering a range of curated experiences including cultural tours, food tours, and themed experiences inspired by local stories and iconic locations.
Our approach goes beyond traditional sightseeing. We work closely with local restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and neighborhood partners to create authentic, high-quality experiences that allow guests to truly engage with each destination.
As we continue to grow internationally, we are building a team that values quality, reliability, and human connection.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tour schedules and guide calendars
- Coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth tour execution
- Provide customer support (before and after tours)
- Communicate effectively with guides and clients
- Handle last-minute changes and problem-solving
- Support light social media tasks (~1 hour/week: posting or coordinating content)
Requirements:
- Fluent English (required)
- Additional language is a strong plus (Spanish, French, or Italian preferred)
- Proven experience in operations, customer support, coordination, or similar roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High level of reliability, responsiveness, and autonomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure

- Flexible schedule, but availability required on weekends and holidays
- Must be available to respond to calls between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM (Paris time)
- Workload varies significantly by season:
- Low season: ~3 hours per week
- High season: up to ~3 hours per day
Peak seasons:
- December
- May through September
Compensation:
- $600/month, paid bi-weekly
- Includes a 2-week training period
