Workday Tester - Boomi

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Tester with hands-on experience in Workday integrations, preferably using Boomi or other integration platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating integration workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting end-to-end testing of Workday modules and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases for Workday integrations, especially those built using Boomi.
• Validate inbound and outbound data flows between Workday and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand integration requirements.
• Perform regression, functional, and system testing across Workday modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Support UAT and production deployment testing.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards during testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Workday testing, with a focus on integrations.
• Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, Studio, EIB, and Report Writer.
• Experience with Boomi or other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SnapLogic).
• Familiarity with XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST APIs, and file-based integrations.
• Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday certification(s) in Integration or HCM.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to payroll, benefits, or finance modules in Workday.
