Role Overview

As a Project Manager within the Data Office Ecosystem Team , you will lead the execution of strategic projects in the CxP domain. You will coordinate across business (Marketing, CRM, Commerce) and technical (Architecture, Platforms, Vendors) stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, aligned with global business priorities and governance frameworks. This role requires a solid foundation in project management, stakeholder coordination, and familiarity with digital marketing or customer engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Setup

  • Defining and tracking implementation plans, scope, governance and timelines.
  • Ensuring project KPIs and success metrics are clearly defined from the start.

2. Project Execution & Delivery Management

Own end-to-end delivery of selected MarTech solutions or platform changes.

Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners, Architects, and Business Analysts to drive delivery against agreed timelines.

Maintain project artifacts:

  • Project scope and milestone plans.
  • Updated platform architecture and impact assessments.
  • Roadmaps with clear dependencies.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and mitigation plans proactively.

3. Stakeholder Management & Communication

Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders (Marketing, CRM, eCommerce, etc.), technical teams, and vendors.

Facilitate alignment between regional/local marketing teams and global functions.

Lead recurring syncs and steering committees, managing expectations and decision-making.

Communicate progress, risks, and decisions via clear documentation (MoMs, project updates, etc.).

4. Agile Ways of Working

Participate in Agile ceremonies – daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Coordinate backlog prioritization with Product Owners and Marketing stakeholders.

Ensure sprint cadence aligns with business needs and vendor deliverables.

5. Technical Awareness & Training

Understand at a high level the key components of the marketing ecosystem (CDP, CRM, campaign automation, analytics tools).

Support KT and onboarding sessions for project contributors.

Work with Architects and BAs to ensure proper translation of business needs into technical deliverables.

6. Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Track project financials in ServiceNow (or equivalent), including:
  • Budget forecasting, cost plans, PO tracking.
  • Invoice status and reallocation of budget if needed.
  • Managing PCRs (Project Change Requests) and associated approvals.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to ensure financial governance.

7. Documentation & Governance

Align with Data Office governance standards, including:

  • Architecture documentation and approvals.
  • Financial and compliance-related records.
  • Audit-ready status at every phase.
  • Expected Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, & Monthly Responsibilities

Daily:

  • Participate in stand-ups and vendor meetings.
  • Track progress and blockers.
  • Update ServiceNow and MoMs.
  • Communicate any stakeholder escalations or scope deviations.

Weekly:

  • Run project status reviews with Tech Leads, Vendors, and Marketing.
  • Ensure project documentation is current.
  • Review budget and financial status.

Bi-Weekly:

  • Support sprint ceremonies.
  • Conduct stakeholder updates and align delivery plans.
  • Ensure alignment across global and local teams.

Monthly:

  • Present steering committee updates and decision points.
  • Track actuals vs budget, manage PCRs.
  • Capture lessons learned and ensure documentation closure.

Profile Requirement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Proven Project Management experience with ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management, especially across business and technical domains.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery and tooling (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow).
  • Clear communication, documentation, and financial tracking capabilities.
  • Exposure to digital marketing or MarTech platforms (CDPs, CRMs, campaign tools).

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, or other campaign platforms.
  • Experience in managing global/regional marketing initiatives.
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance in customer engagement platforms.
  • Strong organizational change management and vendor coordination experience.
