Location: Remote (Global Team) – Poland - EMEA Time zone
Hours: 38–40 hours/week, 6 days/week (8 hours Sundays, 6 hours M, T, W, Th, F)
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Community Forums Content Moderator to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment across our online community forums. You will play a key part in moderating content, handling abuse reports, communicating with users, and collaborating with a diverse, distributed team.
Key ResponsibilitiesModerate community content: Review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines, removing spam and inappropriate contributions as needed.
Handle abuse reports: Investigate and respond to abuse reports, applying critical thinking and sound judgment to resolve complex or sensitive cases.
User communication: Engage with community members in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback.
Team coordination: Collaborate with a global team of moderators and community managers, sharing insights and best practices to ensure consistency and coverage.
Task management: Organize, prioritize, and juggle multiple tasks efficiently while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous learning: Adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and community software as our platforms evolve.
RequirementsExcellent communication: Outstanding written and good spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, creatively, and professionally.
Critical thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when handling tricky or ambiguous moderation cases.
Organizational skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours across 6 days per week, and adapt to changing priorities or new software.
Technical aptitude: Quick to learn and navigate new community platforms and moderation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Khoros or other community/forum software
Forums moderation experience
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Experience working with distributed, multicultural teams
