The Holiday Delivery Dilemma: How Customer Service Saved Christmas

A Holiday Shopping Experience

On November 26, I placed an order for two shirts from UNTUCKit, a last-minute gift for my dad. Despite knowing about the Canada Post strike, I was hopeful that online retailers had made alternative arrangements.

When I checked the tracking information, I was disheartened to see it stated: "Awaiting tracking information from Canada Post."

The Customer Service Interaction

Feeling anxious about my order, I followed my husband’s advice and contacted customer service. I sent a friendly email, and to my relief, I received a response within a day. The representative informed me that UNTUCKit was exploring alternative delivery options.

As the days passed, I remained in touch with customer service, even requesting a change of shipping address and a potential discount due to the shipping delays.

The Happy Ending

Finally, on December 16, my parcel arrived via Purolator! The same representative followed up with me to confirm its delivery and offered me a 10% discount for my troubles.

A Festive Reflection

This experience reminded me that while Canada Post workers deserve a raise, the situation also encouraged me to shop in-person, rediscovering the joys of the holiday season amidst bustling shoppers and festive music.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season filled with love and joy!
