- Learner’s permits validity extends from six months to one year, allowing more time for road training.
- Certain populations, including permanently disabled and unhoused, can receive ID cards free of charge.

House Bill 161 / Senate Bill 277
This law permits the MVA to issue free ID cards to specific groups:
- Permanently disabled
- Legally blind
- Youth under juvenile services care
House Bill 230 / Senate Bill 267
The MVA can now print death certificates, improving efficiency for title transfers. This expands on the 2018 law allowing the printing of birth certificates.
Senate Bill 672 / House Bill 552
Automated enforcement citations will now be sent to vehicle owners' current addresses using MVA records, reducing administrative issues.
