Enhancing Accessibility for All

Alaska Airlines has taken a significant step towards inclusivity by partnering with the Autism Society and local port authorities to host a disability practice flight at Portland International Airport. This initiative offers individuals with disabilities the chance to familiarize themselves with air travel processes, from navigating the airport to experiencing a simulated flight.

Benefits of the Program

This program is designed to reduce travel stress and enhance customer service for all, particularly those with cognitive and developmental disabilities. By allowing participants to practice key travel aspects, Alaska Airlines aims to create a more welcoming environment for everyone.
