About Women’s Mental Health Australia:
Join Women’s Mental Health Australia and help us build thriving relationships with our incredible community of supporters.
After 15 years as the Liptember Foundation, we’ve evolved into Women’s Mental Health Australia (WMHA). While our name has changed, our heart and mission remain the same: to ensure every woman, at every stage of life, is seen, heard, and supported with their mental health.
This remote role offers real opportunity to collaborate with a small, high performing team who are committed to shaping a future where every woman and girl can achieve their best mental health.
About The Role:
We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to join our fundraising team at this exciting time. This role is the face of our organisation and responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with donors and fundraisers, delivering memorable supporter experiences, and supporting fundraising activities that help improve mental health outcomes for women across Australia.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll be working across the fundraising portfolio to drive income growth and support the fundraising strategy. This newly created position would suit an early or mid-career fundraiser looking to build a career in relationship fundraising.
What we’re looking for:
You’re a confident communicator who is passionate about providing memorable experiences to our supporters. You enjoy picking up the phone, solving problems and leaving people delighted. You have a genuine passion for women’s mental health. You work with pride, you like to collaborate, and you have a growth mindset.
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with fundraisers, donors, and community supporters.
- Deliver outstanding customer service across all supporter interactions (calls, emails, mail, and events).
- Welcome new supporters, thank existing donors, and manage enquiries and payment follow-ups.
- Collaborate across teams to gather data, photos, and stories that showcase impact.
- Support donor stewardship through personalised acknowledgements, impact updates, and engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of WMHA’s donor journey and supporter retention strategies.
- Manage and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Assist in identifying and nurturing high-value donors and partnership opportunities.
- Work closely with the Fundraising Manager and team to deliver initiatives and improve supporter engagement processes.
- Contribute ideas to improve donor experience and fundraising outcomes.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and purpose-driven team culture.
