Tasks
- Lead development of cross-platform applications using React Native, Tailwind/Nativewind, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Guide projects from both backend and frontend perspectives, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Mentor and onboard junior developers, fostering psychological safety and team empowerment.
- Collaborate closely with clients, designers, backend engineers, and client relations to translate requirements into actionable tasks using Jira.
- Break down client requirements into user stories, estimate timelines, and prioritize backlog items.
- Design and implement resilient frontend-backend integrations (REST/GraphQL) with robust error handling.
- Optimize application performance to meet Core Web Vitals and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Ensure code quality through linting, automated testing (Jest/testRigor), and peer review processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, balancing team capacity and budget constraints.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge across the team.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, constructively critique pitfalls, and propose solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in web development, with strong React Native expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in React Native and experience with Tailwind/Nativewind.
- Deep experience with state management approaches (e.g., Redux, Context API) and the ability to choose and justify the best fit for a given project.
- Solid understanding of React, Vue.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs with robust error handling and fallback mechanisms.
- Proven ability to lead projects, onboard others’ ideas, and admit mistakes or oversights.
- Servant leadership mindset: committed to removing roadblocks, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile methodology expertise: story management using JIRA, adaptability to shifting priorities, and process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility (semantic HTML, ARIA, WCAG).
- Commitment to high-quality work, balancing usability, deadlines, and budgets.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review best practices.
- No portfolio required— after the primary interview, applicants will be asked complete a small take-home test that can be planned and completed on their own time.

- Working knowledge of Laravel or willingness to learn.
- Previous experience with app publishing processes for Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with web deployment workflows (e.g., Vercel, AWS, Laravel Forge).
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Sentry, OhDear, Grafana).
