This is a remote position.
Southland Organics is seeking a dedicated Chat Support Representative to join our Environmental Services team. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service by providing timely, accurate, and friendly support through our chat platform. As a key point of contact, you will help our customers navigate our sustainable solutions and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
Key Objectives
- Deliver prompt and professional assistance to customers via chat.
- Resolve inquiries related to our environmental products and services efficiently.
- Support the company’s mission by fostering positive customer experiences that promote sustainable practices.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns through live chat in a courteous and timely manner.
- Provide clear and accurate information about Southland Organics’ environmental services and offerings.
- Document customer interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Assist with order processing, account updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer support processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, policies, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or chat support, ideally within environmental services or related industries.
- Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with chat support software.
- Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Interest in sustainability and environmental stewardship is a plus.
