This is a remote position.

Southland Organics is seeking a dedicated Chat Support Representative to join our Environmental Services team. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service by providing timely, accurate, and friendly support through our chat platform. As a key point of contact, you will help our customers navigate our sustainable solutions and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.

Key Objectives

  • Deliver prompt and professional assistance to customers via chat.
  • Resolve inquiries related to our environmental products and services efficiently.
  • Support the company’s mission by fostering positive customer experiences that promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns through live chat in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Provide clear and accurate information about Southland Organics’ environmental services and offerings.
  • Document customer interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Assist with order processing, account updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer support processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, policies, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or chat support, ideally within environmental services or related industries.
  • Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with chat support software.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Interest in sustainability and environmental stewardship is a plus.
