The Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that compliance procedures are consistently applied and monitored, fostering a culture of accountability and regulatory adherence within the organization. The team develops, monitors, and enforces processes designed to prevent security violations, minimize risk, and ensure consistent operational performance across locations. This includes conducting audits and evaluations, identifying areas of non-compliance or vulnerability, and recommending or implementing corrective actions.
About the role
The Regional Compliance Specialist provides programmatic oversight to datacenter physical security compliance. The role will be responsible for facilitating, monitoring, and documenting procedures, processes, and overall compliance related to security officer services. The role is highly collaborative and requires significant interaction and dependency on other work groups to execute field activities in support of the compliance program.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will collaborate with datacenter security operations and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. You will identify risks and implement solutions to strengthen controls, while providing clear and timely findings and recommendations on escalated or high-risk issues. The position involves communicating written expectations and educating business partners on the impact of compliance, as well as assisting in the development and delivery of training programs. You will organize meetings and webinars to share information, support projects that improve workflows and operational efficiency, and help schedule and complete compliance evaluations. Additionally, you will maintain a customer-focused approach to problem solving, working closely with clients and program managers to address contract compliance and risk assessments.
What you need to apply
We’re looking for a seasoned professional bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field—or equivalent experience—is required, as well as intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint. Candidate needs to be detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong organisational and communication skills. You will be a standout applicant if you have experience supporting an operations team in a datacenter environment and ISO9001 or ISO 27001 certification.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, time management, and adaptability in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment. You should be comfortable handling multiple tasks concurrently, exercising sound judgment, and collaborating effectively across diverse teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to thrive under pressure are key.
Must hold a high school diploma or GED and have a valid passport along with reliable communication and transportation. Fluency in English is essential, and you should be willing to complete pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks.
This role also requires the physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including travelling up to 30% to support compliance programmes and working for extended periods on a computer
