The Role
The Brand Engagement Manager is an essential role tied directly to Safetrac’s growth, owning brand presence, audience engagement, thought leadership content distribution, and community development.
This role focuses on increasing awareness and engagement with both customers and target audiences within Safetrac’s ideal customer profile, building an engaged audience that recognise Safetrac as the gold standard of compliance management.
Working closely with subject matter experts, PR partners, and the wider marketing team, the Brand Engagement Manager will lead initiatives designed to strengthen Safetrac’s market authority and build long-term audience trust and advocacy.
The successful candidate will oversee content distribution, social media strategy, PR coordination, community development, and engagement programs that position Safetrac as a leading voice in effective workplace compliance and regulatory education.
Key Accountabilities
Brand awareness & audience engagement
- Develop and execute audience engagement campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and market authority across all channels.
- Build and manage Safetrac’s compliance community across digital and in-person channels.
- Drive engagement with both customer and non-customer audiences within Safetrac’s ICP.
- Create programs that strengthen customer advocacy and brand evangelism.
Thought leadership & content distribution
- Coordinate Safetrac’s ‘compliance digest’ and thought leadership content streams, distributing content through emails, podcasts, webinars, and through community social channels where appropriate.
- Ensure Safetrac maintains visibility across key industry conversations and regulatory developments, including live events and exhibitions.
- Identify opportunities for executive and SME thought leadership placement.
- Work closely with internal SMEs to develop relevant industry commentary and educational content.
PR & communications
- Liaise with external PR agencies and media contacts.
- Coordinate industry commentary, media opportunities, and external communications.
- Ensure messaging consistency across external channels.
Social media & audience growth
- Own Safetrac’s social media calendar and content scheduling.
- Oversee audience growth and engagement strategies across social platforms.
- Monitor audience engagement metrics and optimise performance.
Competencies Required
- Strong understanding of B2B audience development and thought leadership marketing.
- Experience managing social media and content distribution strategies.
- Experience coordinating PR or media engagement.
- Strong storytelling, content development and brand communication capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience developing audience engagement and community-building strategies.
- High level of creativity, initiative and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign and engagement data.
- Adaptability to new technologies, AI tools and evolving marketing practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, communications, audience engagement, or content marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline.
- Experience in regulated, professional services, SaaS, or compliance-related industries.
- People and team management experience.
