Personal Support Worker

Right at Home provides high-quality in-home care to support older Australians and those recovering from illness or injury in living safely and independently at home. Right at Home includes skilled nurses and compassionate support workers. Services range from personal care and companionship to specialised clinical support, delivered under government care programs and private arrangements.

Role Description

This is a casual, remote role for Personal Support Workers at Right at Home Gold Coast. The Personal Support Workers will provide assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and domestic tasks to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and independence.

Responsibilities include supporting clients with mobility providing companionship, and addressing individual needs. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of care and communicating with families, healthcare providers, and the Right at Home team.

Qualifications

• Strong Support Worker expertise and relevant experience in personal or community care roles
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities, including empathy and active listening
• Understanding of Safeguarding practices to promote safety and wellbeing
• Basic Technical Support skills, including documentation and digital record-keeping
• Capacity to work independently and remotely in a professional manner
• Completion of a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent qualification
• First aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable comprehensive insured vehicle are preferred
