What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage a steady volume of incoming calls regarding benefits, enrollment, eligibility, invoicing, claims, and related topics
- Fully explain Medicare Part D, Part C Medicare Advantage Programs, and Dual Special Need Program (DSNP)
- Actively listen to understand customers' needs and ensure one-call resolution for their inquiries
- Navigate members' plan benefits and review clients' policies while complying with regulatory guidelines
- Utilize multiple client systems to provide accurate information while demonstrating proficiency in problem-solving skills
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree
- Successful completion of a customer service assessment and typing test on a computer
- Must complete a mandatory paid training program with 100% attendance
- Successful completion of a background check required for this position
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with Medicare programs and healthcare-related inquiries
- Strong multitasking abilities and experience with various software systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
