Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Onboarding & Support Specialist. This role is critical in providing support for Prizm’s clients during initial onboarding, along with support to internal teams for both new business and existing client-service needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the personal-lines space, with a deep understanding of both admitted and excess and surplus lines carriers. This person also must be tech savvy, nimble, and energized by working in a dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead the onboarding process for Prizm clients from start to finish. This includes the following: 
  • Reviewing accepted client proposals
  • Creating an onboarding form and communicating directly with each client to gather final details needed to issue new policies
  • Updating carrier systems to include all necessary information
  • Sending requests to underwriters or automatically issuing policies (carrier dependent)
  • Once policies are issued, ensuring that all new policy documents are uploaded into the client’s portal; send each client a welcome letter and provide access to the client portal.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to continue to improve the onboarding process through technology and workflows 
  • Aid in service-related inquiries from clients
  • Aid in quoting and proposal preparation on an as-needed basis. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Bonus if you have familiarity with both admitted and excess and surplus lines carriers and quoting systems, particularly Cincinnati, Pure, Berkley One, and Vault.
  • Comfort engaging directly (via email, video call, and phone) with insurance clients, for all service needs. 
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent communicator: written and verbal communications are timely, concise, informative, and professional.
  • Comfortable with constantly evolving technology and business workflows. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other stakeholders.
