Mortgage Broker – Commission Only – Work From Anywhere in Australia

Wealth Street Finance is seeking an experienced, commission-only Finance Broker to join our growing team. This role is paid by commission only, great earning potential, subcontractor arrangement. The role involves strong ongoing marketing support, providing warm enquiries and an established database. You will guide clients through the home loan process from the initial consultation to settlement. 

We are a high-trust, performance-driven brokerage that works primarily with everyday Australians and property investors, including employees, self-employed clients, and business owners. Position Details

• Role: Finance Broker
• Hours: Full-time
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in mortgage brokering. 
• Location: Work from home opportunity available

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for customers referred by our network
• Conduct initial client meetings and assist them through to settlement
• Prepare client files, gather information, and ensure accuracy
• Manage loan applications, serviceability calculators, and compliance
• Track loan applications and ensure timely settlements
• Foster key relationships with clients, bank BDMs, and conveyancers
• Maintain CRM systems
• Converting warm enquiries and database clients into lodged apps and settled loans
• Running discovery calls, fact finds, packaging, and presenting options
• Working with our processing/support team to keep files moving (no “set and forget”)
• Building a clean, compliant book you can be proud of

Qualifications & Experience

• Cert IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking
• Minimum 2- 3 years experience as a mortgage broker
• Experience in writing loans for residential properties
• Strong knowledge of Australian lending products, policies, and compliance
• Full accreditation with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in holding meetings and navigating Zoom
• End to end execution of deals
• Strong communication + follow-up discipline (clients shouldn’t have to chase you)
• Pipeline hygiene: you update files weekly, and nothing “mysteriously” stalls
