Your salary package includes an annual allowance for working from home expenses or technology. You will be an employee of Picnic Labs and dedicated to the growth of Our Ark Mutual.

Our Ark Mutual was launched in December 2020 to provide industrial special risk protection as an alternative to insurance for organisations that are at the heart of their local community.

Members of Our Ark includes childcare centres, community housing, regional accommodation providers, churches, charities, not-for-profits, aboriginal land councils, aged & disability care providers, schools, backpackers & hostels, faith-based organisations, community groups

What You’ll Do

  • Own the client and broker relationship from onboarding through to renewal—ensuring smooth, transparent, and value-driven experiences.
  • Manage and grow a high-quality sales pipeline, using data and insight to prioritise opportunities and drive conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams—including underwriting, product, and marketing—to design and deliver tailored coverage solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both individual members and broker partners, understanding their unique needs and advocating for the right outcomes.
  • Support growth campaigns and retention initiatives, bringing ideas to life and tracking impact.
  • Keep CRM systems up to date and maintain a high standard of reporting and communication.
  • Report to the Head of Sales and work in collaboration with the greater team on leads, existing relationships, and direct members.
  • Be the contact for customer enquiries including FNOL.
  • Support the onboarding of new members and brokers.

Who You Are

  • A natural relationship builder—confident, clear, and warm in how you communicate.
  • Comfortable juggling client and broker interactions across multiple touchpoints.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills—you like to see things through.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and motivated by both service and sales outcomes.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Your Background

  • 2+ years experience in client service, account management, or sales—preferably in insurance, financial services, or similar.
  • Familiarity with broker relationships or intermediary sales models is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce) is helpful but not essential.
  • A good understanding of general insurance principles or willingness to learn fast.
  • Tier 1 Required
