Senior Technical Solutions Lead (100% Remote | Direct Hire)_*Must be located in EST or CST time zone*_Overview:

Optomi, in partnership with a healthcare client, is seeking a Senior Technical Solution Lead to optimize existing platforms, drive seamless integrations with third-party applications, and manage a Microsoft-centric infrastructure.

This role focuses on infrastructure ownership, automation, data integrity, and system reliability, supporting both internal operations and external integrations. You will work across vendors, MSPs, CSPs, internal teams, and executive leadership, acting as a key bridge between business needs and technical execution.

This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can balance hands-on system ownership with strategic thinking, ensuring solutions are scalable, practical, and maintainable long-term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end technical environment, ensuring stability, scalability, and long-term supportability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, validating architecture decisions and ensuring seamless integration
  • Evaluate and right-size infrastructure solutions delivered by external partners
  • Drive and support migration from on-premise to Azure-based cloud environments
  • Help define and build a technical roadmap within a currently unstructured environment
  • Balance strategic initiatives with hands-on execution, including troubleshooting and operational support
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Automate processes and implement DevOps best practices to improve efficiency
  • Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on performance, reliability, and security
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to both leadership and the technical team
  • Lead technical initiatives within a small, agile team environment
  • Collaborate across teams and vendors to continuously improve infrastructure and integrations
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in systems administration/engineering role or cloud infrastructure, including 3+ years in a senior/lead role
  • Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between third-party systems (APIs, automation, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure (Azure AD, networking, storage, DNS, DHCP, Windows services)
  • Experience working in vendor-driven / buy-vs-build environments
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
  • Experience operating in a small, self-directed team environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
  • Development experience with .NET, C#, and/or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS and/or Google Workspace)
  • Experience with Power Automate, Python, or JavaScript
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, MCSE, etc.)
  • Experience in healthcare environments
  • Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem to cloud transitions)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
