Credit Controller

About Us

We’re looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Credit Controller to join our finance team. This is a fully remote role suitable for someone who is confident managing their own workload, building strong customer relationships, and improving cash collection processes.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are paid on time, queries are resolved quickly, and our ledger stays accurate and up to date. You’ll work closely with Finance, Customer Success and Sales to support healthy cashflow and an excellent customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full credit-control process
• Proactively chase overdue invoices via phone and email
• Build positive, professional relationships with customers
• Resolve billing queries and disputes in a timely manner
• Monitor aged debt, identify risks and recommend actions
• Prepare weekly/monthly debtor reports and updates for the Finance team
• Support process improvements as we scale

About You

• Experience in credit control, accounts receivable or a similar finance role
• Confident communicator with a friendly, professional approach
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to prioritise workload and work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable using accounting/ERP systems and Excel
• Highly organised, reliable and proactive

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, subscriptions or a high-volume billing environment
• Familiarity with systems like QuickBooks, Maxio & Stripe
