Are you passionate about driving scientific collaboration and innovation in the diagnostic and biopharma industries? We’re seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead relationships with research and development organizations, including CROs, IVD companies, academia, and biopharma partners.

This key leadership role combines clinical and scientific insight with strategic business development to build and sustain long-term partnerships that advance research and diagnostic solutions. You’ll serve as the primary liaison for external partners, identifying new opportunities, expanding existing collaborations, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new research and development opportunities through a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by delivering high-touch service, conducting business reviews, and identifying opportunities to expand partnerships.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve growth targets and ensure client retention.
  • Build and maintain relationships through various channels — including meetings, email, phone, and professional networking platforms.
  • Lead contract negotiations, leveraging persuasive communication and problem-solving skills to create mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain accurate client information, opportunities, and activity tracking within CRM systems.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and tradeshows to expand brand awareness and partnerships.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating with teams to support innovation and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical research, business development, or sales within the R&D or biopharma sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and partnership goals.
