Contract Analyst - REMOTE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Contract Specialist to support clinical research operations through expert contract management.

You’ll be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts from design to execution, while liaising with internal stakeholders including legal, clinical, and finance teams. This is a high-impact role with visibility across multiple departments and the opportunity to lead smaller projects.

Location: Remote from Belgium (only candidates legally resident in Belgium)

Employment Type: 40h a week. Initial contract as external for 12 months, high possibility to be extended to 24 months and permanently after that.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage clinical trial and vendor contracts
• Analyze Fair Market Value (FMV) to support budget development and documentation
• Collaborate with legal, clinical, reimbursement, and other teams on agreements and informed consents
• Track contract progress, compile data, and maintain historical records
• Apply critical thinking to contract redlines and escalate appropriately
• Lead smaller projects with oversight from senior professionals
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management

Requirements:

• Law/Legal Bachelor’s degree in with 4+ years of contract experience, or advanced degree (JD, Master’s) with 2+ years
• Experience in Contract negotiation for Clinical trials
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Critical thinking in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
• Familiarity with legal terms and budget/finance basics
• Experience managing moderately complex contract negotiations
