Collections Associate Remote (Part - Time)

Job Purpose As a Recovery Associate, you'll serve as a subject matter expert within our Retention & Collections organization responsible for retaining customers and collecting any outstanding balance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Answer inbound calls and text messages assisting customers to remain in compliance
• Contact customers via outbound calls, text messages and/or email to assist with retention and collection efforts
• Follow up on all promise to pays, payment plans and settlements in a timely manner
• Plan, organize and prioritize daily work to meet deadlines
• Adhere to department guidelines and goals to ensure KPIs are met
• Special Projects and all other duties as directed by management

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years' experience in a Customer Service, Collections or Sales role strongly preferred
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify the problem, analyze possible solutions and decide on the best course of action
• Strong listening skills to understand the needs of the customers and find a way to achieve account resolution
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, call center environment
• Highly motivated to meet department goals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Able to work Monday and Friday AM 9 AM - 5:30 PM, Tuesday - Thursday 10 AM -2 PM CST
