Working Model: Remote (occasional office attendance – max 2 days/month, mainly for onboarding/meetings)e
📍Location preference: Local to Bradford
We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Desktop Support Engineer (Wintel) to join a busy enterprise support environment, providing advanced technical support across end-user computing and infrastructure services.
🔧 Essential Requirement
- Strong 3rd Line Desktop Support experience within a Wintel environment
💡 Key Skills (core focus in bold)
- Advanced desktop support (3rd line) in Wintel environments
- Windows 10/11 Enterprise support
- Active Directory (On-Prem & Azure/Entra)
- Microsoft Intune & Autopilot (MDM)
- Virtual desktop environments (Hyper-V, RDS)
- Endpoint management tools (e.g. Ivanti)
- Group Policy (GPO) & PowerShell
- SMB Shares & NTFS permissions
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint & Windows Firewall
- Remote access & VPN support
- Exchange Online (mailboxes, distribution groups, resources)
- Microsoft Teams support (including Teams Rooms)
- Secure Print & endpoint application support

- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MFA)
- Proxy & web content filtering
- Software patching & Windows Updates
- Assistive software (Dragon, Supernova)
