One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist in Germany. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll play a key role in transforming ERP systems through innovative AI-driven features. You will work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and customers to design, prototype, and implement intelligent features that enhance business operations. Your work will span from auditing complex SQL reports to building scalable AI agents and evaluation frameworks. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who combines technical excellence with strong product thinking and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Accountabilities:
- Design and implement AI-powered features and agents for real-world ERP use cases
- Build evaluation frameworks to rigorously assess the quality, performance, and reliability of AI implementations
- Translate user needs into efficient data workflows, logic, and scalable solutions
- Rapidly prototype and assess the feasibility of AI concepts within business operations
- Optimize and scale SQL-based reporting tools for end-users
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering roles
- Deep understanding of generative AI technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, and evaluation methodologies
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with relevant ML/AI design patterns (e.g., RAG)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex, customer-facing reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Fluent in both English and German
