What awaits you

Pure instant power. Anywhere. We have created the world’s most advanced portable power supplies, bringing freedom to the way our customers work. With you we want to shape a world where advanced technology meets environmental responsibility and create lasting impact. We are working from all over Europe and the US, whether onsite, hybrid or fully remote. Driven by our curiosity and the desire to leave tomorrow's world cleaner than we found it yesterday. Join us in transitioning away from combustion generators to a cleaner alternative for fast, measurable, and real outcomes. What we’ve achieved so far is just the beginnig 🚀

As our Key Account Manager, you are the main point of contact for our major national customers. You make sure they get the most from our products, and you grow our business with them by embedding yourself in each account. As our distribution model develops, your role will evolve to include managing distribution partners.

This is a fully remote role with regular travel to visit customers on site across the UK.

Become part of our success story by...

  • Owning key account relationships: Act as the primary contact for your customers and build strong relationships with decision-makers across each account
  • Delivering framework agreements: Put negotiated agreements into practice, so every customer branch has a positive experience
  • Growing within your accounts: Expand your network and promote existing and new applications across their business units
  • Enabling adoption: Provide product training and support that make our products easy to use, and drive high utilisation
  • Forecasting and performance: Keep accurate forecasts and manage your accounts for units sold and margin
  • Moving into distribution: Help shape and take on the management of distribution partners
  • Working with colleagues: Work alongside the regional sales team and share customer insight with colleagues in the UK and Germany

What you bring

  • A proven sales or account management record, including large accounts and negotiated agreements, with targets met or exceeded
  • A strong technical understanding that lets you explain the value of our products with confidence
  • Commercial awareness: you are comfortable discussing margin, cost of goods sold and P&L
  • Accurate, disciplined forecasting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, including the confidence to train customer teams
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, and occasionally abroad, for example for onboarding in Germany
  • Flexibility around working hours when customers and the business need it
  • The drive and self-discipline to work fully remotely
  • Fluent written and spoken English, and the right to work in the UK

Ideally, you also have experience in distribution or channel sales, coordinating a small team, technical sales, the construction or equipment industry, or working in a start-up or scale-up.

What We Offer

  • A dynamic environment in a fast-growing company with a very flat hierarchy, where you can shape the company with your ideas
  • The opportunity to join a company at the cutting edge of its field
  • Fully remote working across the UK, with onboarding in Germany
  • A laptop and a mobile phone (iPhone or Samsung)
  • 30 days’ paid holiday, plus 5 days’ special leave and public holidays

At Instagrid, we are deeply committed to equal employment opportunities because we believe in the power of diverse teams. We actively search for the best talent regardless of gender, ethnic origin, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability or place of origin. We treat each other with respect and value each other’s opinions to achieve our common goals.

We look forward to receiving your application.
