We are seeking a GeoTechnical Sales Engineer! This role combines engineering knowledge with sales and business development. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, prepare proposals and estimates, and support projects through the bidding and pursuit process. This company is a leader in geohazard mitigation, delivering innovative solutions that keep communities and infrastructure safe. Their teams combine engineering expertise with specialized construction techniques to solve challenging problems in civil, energy, and transportation projects.

Location: Remote anywhere in Texas

Travel: 50%

Salary: $95-105K base + commission (typically $50-70K per year, uncapped)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the civil and oil & gas industries.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support account growth.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients and present tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and review proposals, bids, and cost estimates.
  • Manage the pursuit process for public and private tenders.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure proposals are accurate and competitive.
  • Use CRM tools (Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.) to track opportunities and client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Senior-level experience in B2B consultative sales or technical sales.
  • Experiene with GeoTechnical Sales
  • Experience in public tender/bid processes and project estimating.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with B2W estimating software and CRM systems a plus.

Bonus:

  • Oil/Gas and/or solar B2B sales experience
