We’re hiring a PR Account Manager to work across “corpsumer” PR, where corporate reputation meets consumer relevance.Job type: Part-time

Title: PR Account Manager, Corpsumer

Hours: 3 days per week, with pathway to full-time

Location: Remote, Australia

This role

We’re looking for someone who can find the human, consumer-facing story inside a corporate narrative and turn it into earned media that lands.

"Corpsumer" is how we describe the space between corporate reputation and consumer relevance. Our clients often need to communicate in both directions: B2B and B2C, business and mainstream, technical and human.

You'll manage client accounts day to day across strategy, media relations, pitching, coverage and reporting.

You'll work closely with our senior team and directly with the founder, with genuine room to grow into a senior account lead as you build your portfolio. This role would suit someone who wants more ownership, more direct client exposure and more influence than they might get in a larger agency.

What you'll do

  • Lead day-to-day client accounts across technology, B2B and consumer-facing brands
  • Develop PR strategies, story lanes and proactive media angles
  • Translate complex corporate narratives into clear, relevant and human stories
  • Pitch to tier-one, trade, business, technology and consumer media
  • Build and maintain strong journalist relationships
  • Prepare spokespeople and manage interviews from briefing through to coverage
  • Write compelling pitches, media releases, commentary, briefing notes and opinion pieces
  • Manage reactive media opportunities and keep clients ready to respond quickly
  • Track coverage, report on results and recommend next steps
  • Identify opportunities to sharpen client positioning and grow accounts
  • Contribute ideas to the wider agency as we grow

You might be a fit if you

  • Have at least 3 years of PR agency experience
  • Can move confidently between corporate and consumer storytelling
  • Have a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and genuine journalist relationships
  • Write well and quickly across pitches, releases, commentary and opinion pieces
  • Are comfortable leading clients and making clear recommendations
  • Can manage multiple accounts without losing momentum
  • Work well independently and communicate consistently in a remote team
  • Are proactive, organised and solutions-focused
  • Want ownership and a clear path to senior leadership, rather than a cog-in-the-machine role

You don't need to have worked under the label "corpsumer" before.

We care more about whether you can connect business strategy, reputation and consumer relevance.
