Our firm is currently looking to fill Account Manager roles. Candidates should have at least 5-8 years of communications experience and have led the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic communications programs and plans for assigned agency clients.
Account Managers should be an expert at knowing the tech, business, and finance media landscape with strong media relationships and a demonstrated track record of securing tier-1 placements for clients in print, digital, and broadcast media.
The ideal candidate is a team player and a team leader. He/she must be passionate about innovation and must have had substantial experience servicing client accounts, managing account teams, providing clients and teammates with strategic guidance, and being proactive and motivated to deliver the highest quality results to clients.

Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day execution of multiple account work streams and deliverables
- Sets and tracks internal team goals and account goals
- Acts as day-to-day contact for client, serving as a trusted liaison between client and internal teams
- Serves as a thought-partner for critical strategic decisions and discussions
- Enforces company processes and protocols as well as the standard of quality across client and external deliverables
- Oversees the growth and development of junior pod members
- Maintains strong relationships with Tier 1 Media (reporters, editors, producers, podcasters, newsletter authors)
- Ensuring a steady momentum and cadence of activity for all accounts assigned (5-6)
- Compiling end of month and quarterly recaps, reports and feedback for internal team and client
- Takes the lead role in managing the communications with critical partners, executives and client spokespeople
- Act as an external spokesperson or representative of the firm or client account when necessary
- Participate in industry or client hosted events
- Take the lead on ensuring continued account health and team growth
- Proactively contributes to the account to provide necessary support for team
Qualifications
- Experience leading and managing teams of 3-4 (or larger)
- Experience leading client accounts
- Case studies on past campaigns / launches
- Strong media relationships and 5 references (reporters, editors, producers, clients, managers)
- Excellent written, spoken and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking in high-stakes environments
- Active on social media and has a pulse on trends/emerging trends and narratives
- Avid news reader
- Organized and ability to manage/handle/prioritize tasks

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually (base salary)
