Business Operations Manager (Digital)

Remote, Australia | Full Time Preferred (Minimum 32 hours)

I’m hiring a Business Operations Manager (Digital) at Health with Bec.

This role is perfect for someone who loves improving systems, building efficient workflows, and helping fast-growing online businesses run smoothly.

You’ll work closely with me to scale the operational side of a global online nutrition business delivering programs and memberships to thousands of women worldwide.

Health with Bec is a fast-growing online health and nutrition business helping women worldwide lose weight, reduce bloating, and improve gut health through practical nutrition programs and memberships.

I’m looking for an experienced Digital Operations Manager to take ownership of the systems, workflows, and operational processes that power the business and help us scale efficiently.

This role goes beyond simply managing tasks. The successful candidate will constantly identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and increase the speed and efficiency of the team.

This role is best suited to someone who has previously worked inside a fast-moving online business that sells digital programs, memberships, subscription products, or ecommerce.

The Role

As Business Operations Manager, you will oversee the operational systems and workflows that keep the business running smoothly.

You will act as the operational hub of the team, ensuring projects stay on track, workloads remain balanced, and systems continue improving as the business grows.

You’ll work closely with me and the wider team to improve processes, remove bottlenecks, and help the business scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Systems & Workflow Management

• Manage and improve the operational systems that power the business

• Build and maintain automations to improve efficiency

• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements

• Maintain clear documentation and SOPs for team workflows

• Ensure team workstreams remain aligned with the business’s highest priorities

Tools currently used include:

ClickUp, Slack, Intercom, ActiveCampaign, Kajabi, ThriveCart, Stripe, Google Drive and Zoom.

Project & Team Operations

• Manage project timelines and workflows in ClickUp

• Ensure team members are clear on priorities and deadlines

• Coordinate across content, marketing and customer support teams

• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve team processes

Team Coordination & Scheduling

• Manage the team’s operational workflow and scheduling

• Ensure appropriate coverage when team members are on leave

• Reassign tasks when unexpected changes occur

• Conduct periodic operational check-ins with team members

Program & Membership Operations

• Oversee operational delivery of programs and recurring membership content

• Ensure resources and content are delivered on schedule

• Maintain organisation of internal resources and documentation

• Support the operational delivery and optimisation of the Health with Bec Tribe membership

Launch & Marketing Operations

• Support operational planning for digital launches and campaigns

• Assist with setup and QA of funnels, email sequences and automations

• Manage automation workflows in ActiveCampaign

• Ensure tracking systems are functioning correctly

App Development Coordination

• Coordinate operational aspects of the Health with Bec mobile app development

• Liaise with developers and internal team members to ensure timelines stay on track

• Support testing and rollout of new features

• Assist with preparation for potential App Store launches and updates

AI & Operational Efficiency

• Explore ways to use AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to speed up workflows

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring processes

• Introduce tools and systems that improve team productivity

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience running operations within an online business or ecommerce environment

• Is highly organised and detail-oriented

• Enjoys improving systems and processes

• Is proactive and solution-focused

• Can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

• Is comfortable working closely with a founder in a fast-growing business

Required Experience

• Minimum 4+ years experience in a Digital Operations Manager, Operations Manager, or Online Business Manager role

• Experience working within online education, membership, subscription or ecommerce businesses

• Experience managing subscription or membership-based products, including recurring billing and ongoing content delivery

• Experience with digital launches, marketing funnels and email automation

• Experience implementing or using AI tools or workflow automation

• Strong experience with tools such as ClickUp, ActiveCampaign or similar systems

• Excellent organisational and project management skills

Highly Valued Experience

• Kajabi or ThriveCart platforms

• Mobile app launches or App Store processes

• Automation tools such as Zapier or API integrations

Hours

Full time preferred (38 hours).

Minimum 32 hours per week considered for the right candidate.

Location

Remote role (in Australia, Perth highly preferred but not essential).
