Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Specialist (Part-Time) to join our dynamic support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and beneficiaries, providing timely and professional assistance with inquiries related to health services, systems, or claims. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via phone, email, or chat in a courteous and professional manner.
- Resolve customer inquiries related to Medicaid, healthcare eligibility, billing, or claims processing.
- Accurately log interactions and follow standardized procedures using internal CRM and case management tools.
- Escalate complex issues to senior staff or technical teams as necessary while maintaining ownership of the customer experience.
- Stay up to date on policy changes, system updates, and customer service protocols.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response time, satisfaction, and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant coursework preferred.
- 1+ year of customer service, call center, or healthcare support experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work independently in a structured, remote or in-office environment.
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
Work Schedule
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling may be available, with shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time), Monday through Friday.
