Import Coordinator & Customer Service Representative

The Position

• Receive shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to departure
• Monitor import status to co-ordinate carriers and receival commitments
• Process import documentation for air and sea freight shipments
• Keep clients updated with their shipments and consult solutions on any changes and issues.
• Ensure efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery
• Personalised service solutions adhering to client requirements
• Monitor and report shipment status/milestones
• Attend to import clients enquiries
• Cargo automation and invoicing
• Develop and retain client relationships

The Requirements

To be considered for this role you must possess:

• Proven import experience within a freight forwarder with exposure to air and sea processes
• Customer Service experience and focus
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
• Well developed negotiation, customer service and problem solving skills
• Cargowise, 1-Stop & ICS experience
• Problem solving ability, resilience and can do attitude
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
