Our brand thrives on storytelling, authenticity, and innovation and we’re looking for a new hybrid Content Creator & Social Media Manager to lead how our brand shows up, grows, and connects across all platforms.

The Role

We’re seeking a creative and strategic digital storyteller who can own Facetheory’s organic social presence from end to end: from concepting and creating content to scheduling, posting, engaging, and reporting.

You’ll be both the creative engine and the social strategist behind our online presence, driving brand awareness, community engagement, and audience growth through social-first content.

This is a remote role and works cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative and Product teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Execution

  • Conceptualize and shoot native, high-engagement content across TikTok and Instagram
  • Act as an on-camera personality when needed, bringing the brand to life through authentic storytelling and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Maintain a consistent content cadence across all channels, balancing reactive trend-led content with planned campaign storytelling.

Social Media Management

  • Manage all organic social platforms day-to-day, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Own the content calendar: planning, scheduling, and publishing posts in alignment with marketing campaigns, launches, and retail activations.
  • Write on-brand social captions and ensure all copy aligns with Facetheory’s tone and visual identity.
  • In collaboration with Customer Service, manage comments, DMs, and community engagement fostering an authentic, two-way dialogue with our audience.
  • Collaborate with paid media and influencer teams to ensure alignment across organic and paid strategies.
  • Manage social reporting, analyzing performance metrics weekly and monthly to optimize growth, engagement, and conversion.
  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates, platform changes, and emerging best practices, constantly testing and iterating content types and posting times.

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Actively engage with our audience through duets, stitches, and UGC amplification.
  • Spot and collaborate with emerging creators, brand fans, and micro-influencers to expand Facetheory’s reach.
  • Proactively engage with relevant conversations, hashtags, and skincare communities to expand reach.

Brand Identity & Storytelling

  • Ensure all content reflects Facetheory’s brand tone, values, and aesthetic, balancing science-backed skincare education with cultural relevance and personality.
  • Collaborate with in-house teams (marketing, retail, and product development) to translate brand moments into compelling content.

Who You Are

  • Social-First & Trend-Savvy: You have a deep understanding of social platforms, their unique audiences, and the formats that drive performance.
  • Comfortable On-Camera: You’re confident appearing in videos and know how to bring an engaging presence to the screen.
  • Strategic & Data-Driven: You analyze what’s working, optimize content, and iterate based on insights.
  • A Natural Storyteller: Whether it’s educating, entertaining, or inspiring, you know how to craft content that resonates with audiences.
  • Passionate About Beauty & Skincare: Bonus points if you have experience or deep interest in skincare, beauty, or wellness.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation and/or brand marketing (brand or agency)
  • Proven track record growing TikTok/IG channels organically
  • Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere & After Effects or similar).
  • Experience using TikTok/IG trends, sounds, effects, and native editing tools.
  • Understanding of social media analytics & performance tracking.
